Terry Fox and Story-Telling

We had another full, fun-filled week today at school! We had our first visit from our TIA (The Integrated Arts) artist.  Her name is Leigh-Ann and she is a story-teller and actress. Here we are in action:
 

We learned all about Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope before walking around the school halls in his honour (the fields were too muddy!).

Colour Days - Week 1

What a week!  We celebrated colours all week with great outfits, colourful snacks, and cute crafts. We played colour games on the Smartboard and sang colour songs.

The morning class also had TWO assemblies in the gym this week.  The first one was an assembly to welcome all of our new students and teachers to Bannatyne.  The second was to watch a Lights of the North performance.  It was incredible.
